The International Day of Charity is right around the corner! September 5th is recognized as an international holiday to remind people of Mother Teresa and her dedication to helping the poor. In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, things can get overwhelming, and people can lose sight of the bigger picture. While your job may be stressful, or your home may need repairs, it is a helpful idea to remember that some people in worse situations would love those problems.
This is why this September 5th, Bigger Brains is encouraging others to go out into the community and give back! Whether it’s donating clothes to a homeless shelter or volunteering at a soup kitchen, there are lots of ways to contribute back to the world around you. You could use this holiday to learn more about your team and volunteer together somewhere, or even work on completing a personal goal by picking up litter on the side of the road!
