Conflict is a natural part of human interaction, and the way we handle it can significantly impact our relationships. Dr. Kevin Jones, an expert in conflict management, mediation, and de-escalation with over 20 years’ experience providing training in the field, will explain and demonstrate how to successfully manage conflicts specifically related to team dynamics and among multiple people in a team environment. 

 

Kevin will show you how to distinguish between team and interpersonal conflict and describe the difference between functional and dysfunctional conflict. He will also discuss ways you can prevent future conflicts.  

 

You’ll learn the elements that are essential to the conflict resolution process, the role of team leaders throughout the conflict process, and the role of peers in conflict situations and resolution. You’ll also learn what steps to take in the conflict management process and the steps for promoting resolution. 

 

By the end of this course, you’ll have the tools you need to successfully manage conflict intervention and de-escalation within teams.
