At Bigger Brains, we believe very strongly that education is the key to unlocking human potential. Most of the time we focus on helping people be more productive in the workplace via our unique eLearning courses, but we’ve also been strong proponents of education on many levels.
Today we’re announcing the launch of a new initiative – Supporting Education Everywhere (SEE), a program through which Bigger Brains will donate a portion of all revenues we receive to high-quality education-based charities.
We are kicking off the program in support of ARDR, the Association Rwandaise pour le Developpment Rurale (Rwandan Rural Development Association), and their US 501(c)3 affiliate ARDR allies.
“We believe very strongly that education is the key to unlocking human potential”
ARDR provides a range of education and health care initiatives in and around Rwamagana province in Rwanda, and since 2014 they have been working to build a school and clinic to support 380 students who currently must walk 5+ miles (one way) to the nearest school. Bigger Brains president Chip Reaves has been involved with ARDR since 2007 and has seen firsthand both the need and the desire of the people in Rwanda for better education.
Building a school is a monumental task, but one that will yield lasting benefits for generations of rural Rwandana. Here are three ways you can help:
- Visit ARDR Allies‘ website to learn more about their mission and the people involved.
- Make a donation directly to ARDR Allies if you are able.
- Purchase eLearning courseware (SCORM files or online subscriptions) from Bigger Brains.
Through October 31 a portion of all revenues Bigger Brains receives will be donated to ARDR Allies, for the school project and child sponsorships. For corporate purchasers mention the Supporting Education Everywhere project and we’ll discount your purchase by 10% and send a matching donation to ARDR Allies as well.
