By day, Jamie works as a Senior Technical Writer at DataStax, Inc. In her free time, she works as an instructor for online courses, at CPTC training and courses available through Bigger Brains. She founded CPTC training to help technical communicators validate their professional skills and prepare for the Certified Professional Technical Communicator exam. Working with Chris Hester, co-founder, they developed the only online, asynchronous CPTC exam prep course. As a consultant, she’s worked with a variety of clients to help them improve their documentation and leads plain language workshops. She is a Senior Member of the Society for Technical Communication.
